Attention: 2010 OMRSCCA events and the 2010 Midwest Division Solo Series will be using MotorsportReg.com online registration.
MotorsportReg advantages over last year
- By having a login, you keep your particulars saved in a profile. No need to retype for every event!
- An entry list showing who else is attending.
- Your online profile allows you to save multiple vehicles.
- MotorsportReg is already used by NEOkla, KCRSCCA, STLSCCA, and many other area regions. Easy registration for when their members visit our events and vice versa.
Why Pre-register?
- Reduces time waiting in registration line.
- Allows us to have a general head count for heat sizes, food, etc.
- Much less work for the volunteers helping with registration.
- Beginning with the June event, pre-registration enabled a $5 discount.
Solo Entry fees
The following entry fee structure will be announced at all upcoming regional autocrosses, effective at the June Solo2 event:
$20 - SCCA members pre-registered
$25 - SCCA members not pre-registered
$35 - All non-annual-member "SCCA weekend membership" entrants
This structure allows us to maintain the same $20 member and $35 weekend member fees as before, even though our sanction and insurance costs have gone up slightly. All you have to do is pre-register, which ultimately means less time in line and more time having fun!
This entry fee structure was discussed at the April 2009 OMR meeting and tabled in August 2009 pending a robust pre-registation system (like MotorsportsReg). Now we have it!
How do I sign up?
- If you do not have an account with MotorsportReg, go to [http://www.motorsportreg.com]. There is a link to create a login at the right side of the screen.
- We will post links to online registration for each event on omrscca.org and the OMR forums. Just click on that link, log in, and sign up. Easy.
- Pre-registration is available to SCCA annual members and weekend members alike.
Payments
We will still collect entry fees on site in the form of cash or check. You do not pay online, even if MotorsportReg presents you with that option.
When
We hope to have online registration for our March 21 event up and running around March 8th or 9th. Most events should have online registration available four weeks or so in advance.
Etc.
- After you register or make changes, it takes about 15 minutes for the entry list to update. Hang tight!
- IGNORE the "pay now to competely registration" messages. We asked if that could be removed, but it's a fixed part of MotorsportReg's template, even if we aren't accepting online payment (which would cost more). _________________ Jim Rowland - OMR Assistant Region Executive
