I can't wait! Next year, I might even trade in for a 335i (maybe a year old one or something). Those cars are track machines. It was a blast, completely surpassed my expectations! I'll be renewing my BMWCCA membership annually, and I'm looking forward to the AX driving school, and any other road cou...

This was an awesome event! I'm completely hooked on HPDE and high speed touring! The only drama this weekend was due to me purchasing new brakes from TireRack (GranSport 6 - front & rear) which happen to suck. Not just a little bit, but suck enough to catch on fire and completely loose friction resu...

Hmmmm, from my experience through years of knowing you, it's obvious you're trying to get your point across when you repeat the same thing over and over (see last 3 posts above). However, there might be other reasons for my remembering your need to repeat things to me over and over...

Re: New guy

Who the heck is Ronny? I assume this is Paul in the black RSX-S (beautiful car) that I saw last night? Weren't you calling me Johnny then? I'm glad you found the site If Jim says your driving looked pretty good, thats a very good sign you should continue to autocross and hone those skill...

His raw time would have been around a -38.50ish as a result of time dilation.

However, I think his miata surely has more than 120hp.

Edit: not a miata...thinking of another super-fast autox guy

Autocross was not the cause of my CV catastrophe. And no, I would never No2 my car...or any car under warranty for that matter! After another 2.5 years, I might do S/C maybe...but I'm just not a nos fan. All I know is Don Wessel took care of the problem, and everything is right as rain. Would highly...

I'm so happy Honda warrantied my stuff. The invoice was two pages...

My broken car

So, evidently it was a good idea to not continue the event after my 2nd run yesterday! I just heard back from Honda, and I need new axles, CV boots, and parts. They are not sure what caused the malfunction. While they were at it I told them about a rattling sound coming from the front of the car, an...

^^^ Well said. IMO it was the the best course I've driven all year (even though I really liked Jim's at event 1 and the last one that Chris made.)

I wouldn't mind you being the official course designer :)

Ohhh, I wanna see! I'd like to play but theres no way I can compete with the SM's EM's and SS cars...(not yet anyways)

On the flip side, it would be nice to see a good'ol 4-banger beat all these V8's.

Hell, I'll throw $5 into the pot just to create some interest

installing stuff

So I ordered my Progress liner springs, camber kit, and dampeners today...

the only problem is I have no idea what i'm doing as far as installing them goes. Anyone know a good place?

I think I might need an alignment after I do this from what I understand as well.
