Re: Choosing "street" tires for 2015

If anyone is looking for the popular sizes (205/15" or 245/17") of the RE 71R and having no luck with Tire Rack, then give Firestone store in Springfield at 814 S Glenstone Ave a call. They have a limited # in both sizes, and are even a little less expensive then Tire Rack once you figure in shippin...

Re: Exhaust shops?

These guys are really good, they even build custom headers to fit, and will have no issues getting an exhaust in your car. Now how backlogged/busy they are might n...

Re: Choosing "street" tires for 2015

Still no treadwear rating listed on the V720, though everyone expects them to be "street". Has anyone called to confirm that it will be 200 or more?

Choosing "street" tires for 2015

Yeah, time to buy some new autocross tires. But which tires? Mark Foley, Opie, and Sam continue to go fast, and I know everyone else is looking at ways to go faster. I'm talking of autocross street tires, of course, but there are at least 5 possible choices this year. Maybe this will stimulate a di...

Re: 2015 StreetSurvival

Sara might correct me if it has changed, but we used to allow persons to fill out the date line for minor waivers as "All Events 2015" so it would cover the entire year. You would keep your copy and show it at the waiver station for each event attended the rest of the year. Speaking of, I hope that ...

Re: 2015 StreetSurvival

I know they like to encourage students to drive the vehicle that is normally driven by them, but understand/agree with rollover concerns. Personally I would put my child in a car for this event, even if a truck was allowed. Anyone else that is more familiar with the rules know if a body on frame mid...

Re: SOLO Event #1 :: 3/29/2015 - Neosho

Results have been posted. WOW I am amazed at the quality of our participants/volunteers. 101 entries (nearly double of normal), and likely an all time record number of participants for any event ever hosted by the OMR, including Divisional's. There were so many new faces we had 2 novice walks. This...
