Shane, I second Justin's welcome! Although I've been an SCCA member for a decade, I'm new to this region. I've found it to be full of nice, helpful people. Come to the first event of the year and introduce yourself as a newbie to us old-timers and we'll make sure to show you the ropes. Hope to see y...

I'm assuming you're asking about R1Rs for use on your Tracer. That's probably the single fastest tire choice for your class/car for now, but there are some more models of possibly quicker tires rumored to be scheduled for release early next year. You're new to this. These types of rumors are common ...

Just a quick, unsolicited plug for Gregg and Gene's Gallery. They took the fluids, we had a pleasant, quick visit and it's a nice bike shop. IIRC, they even have some SCCA appropriate things, like Snell helmets. Thanks, Gregg.

Awesome. Thanks, Gregg. Funny thing - I happened to drive right by your store earlier today. Next time I'm gonna be in the neighborhood I'll have to plan ahead and bring this stuff. Should I call first? Also, given the contents of this thread, I take it you don't care if the petrochemical stuff is m...

I'm on septic and well water and am ~ ½ mile outside Nixa city limits. The current batch of coolant I've got to dispose of is from my Mercedes, so it's Mercedes branded HOAT (Hybrid Organic Acid Technology) like Zerex G-05. This is the first time I've had to deal with this stuff. Everything else I'...

Fluid recycling

I just moved to Nixa this summer from Indiana. I've already got some coolant to recycle, and will have brake fluid, ATF and gear oil to deal with pretty soon. I've made some calls, and it seems that lots of places around here take used oil, but nothing else. Anyone know who accepts this stuff around...

A fun, well run event, with lots of nice people, a solid core of volunteers and some very talented drivers. That was just what I was hoping to find when I moved to this area. Thanks for letting me scare some cones with you guys. :)
