And now that I say that, I'm possibly going to show up in a foxbody mustang. There's a guy interested in trading me his mustang for my focus. So now, um, challenge is off? If the trade goes through I guess

"Stock w/V-8" = F-Stock. "Not Stock" = ESP/STX/Whateva'th'hell else.

Scott, this might be a bad idea for you at least. If my memory serves me correctly it didn't work out so good for the father that was on the dark side

Hey! To go-along with the Spirit of this - what say you F-Stock guys, lets us go along on a contest like this eh?

Bud? ('07 Shelby GT)

Bob? ('10 Camaro SS)

Who else is talkin' F-Stock this year?

Is there gonna be a Throw-Down?
Are you serious! The new Camaro is in F-stock. That's 100 more horse. They should be with the Vettes if you ask me.

I wish I could smack talk in ESP, but I never get better than 4th if Mark Opie and Korry show up. Oh what the hell, I'm smokin all you freaks this year!
It also weighs like 400+lbs MORE than the Mustang - and most of that is over the nose. Also, seems to be a bit undersprung and under-bar'd, if you put any stock in what the 'zines say.

400+ hp is not really any different than the Terminator Cobras 420hp (F-Stock), or the SRT-8 Challengers 425hp (also F-Stock).

Now, the '11 Mustang GT with the Brembo brakes/handling pack, and 412hp may be something of a challenge (or for that matter, the 305hp V-6 with the MVR package in G-Stock!) - but not until 2011.
It won't be for 2011. I work at ford now and I have been told that all 2010 mustang production has been stopped and that we will start ordering 2011 mustangs real soon.

They were Producing '10MY Mustangs for a late Job 1 in the first half of '09 - with all '09MYs bein' manufactured during Job 2 in '08. However, the 2010MY wasn't eligible to run (at a National level) in SCCA until this season.

I imagine the 2011MY will be the same way. Gearing-up for Job 2 early, or a (very!) late start on Job 1.

H Stock Challenge still on!! Decided it's more fun to beat people with 4 cylinders and front wheel drive. If I had 8 cylinders I couldn't talk as big a game. :)

Thanks Stan.

I'd like to point out however, that they sure didn't seem all that attractive during the install.....

Simple and crude, but effective. The car too.
