Course design and setup is one area where we can always stand to increase our depth of experience. It's an important talent, as course quality affects both safety and competitor enjoyment.
I would like to get another dedicated person or two up to speed on course creation. We try to lay down highly readable, well-flowing, moderate speed courses that follow the conventions you'll see at upper-level Solo events. Most of these norms are explained well in course design guru Roger Johnson's Course Design Guide:

If you'd be interested and can be available at Crowder on Saturdays before regional events (tomorrow included) - usually around the middle of the day - let me know and we can get you started down the path!
