What size numbers do you guys run on the door and what size letters do you run on the door for class? What is the best place you have found to make the magnetic one's that stick on the car?

Download solo rules here: http://scca.cdn.racersites.com/prod/ass ... es_May.pdf

Section 3.7, beginning the bottom of page 39.

I got my numbers from Solo Performance Specialty (SPS): http://www.soloperformance.com/Autocros ... _c_34.html

Another good bunch is iZoom: http://izoomgraphics.com/

Both are Competitors, so any money you spend with them is "in the community".

You also could buy a sheet of magnetic material--I'm not sure where but I'm certain you can get it--and with a keen eye and a steady hand make your own numbers. I've done that before, although a cheated a little by using another professionally done number as a rough pattern.

Honestly that is probably what I will do being that I am new to this sport and may want to change class and or be required to. Plus I won't have to fight over the number or numbers I already have every year... just write new ones.

Please make sure you pre-register before you make your #'s, that way you will know that the number is available.

Sign shops have rolls of magnetic material that they will sell. I buy it from the Sign Design in Joplin for $5 a foot (it's 24" wide).
