Sportsman's Warehouse (Rogers, AR) going out of business

Post by JimR » Tue Apr 14, 2009 6:56 pm

Mainly for the NWA people here, but Sportsman's Warehouse on Pleasant Grove Road in Rogers is going out of business, and everything is 40%+ off. Guns and ammo are the only things not marked down much (sorry Bobby).

Rain gear, warm weather gear, gloves, boots, knives, binoculars, hunting gear, camping stuff, etc. I bought Under Armor pants, rain jacket, hiking boots, mechanics' gloves, and crazy thermal NASA socks for $135. Pretty good haul for what it usually costs.

They also have some big 20 x 10' easy-up shelters for $210.

It's kind of picked over, but there's a lot left.

Any other smaller easy ups? I've been looking for one for a while.

They had one more that looked like a 10 x 10', about the size I brought to the wavier station at Neosho. ~$80? No telling how long it will stay around, though.

Not that I'm advocating shopping a "Big Box", but Mal~Wart has those "First Up" brand 10x10's for about $88 right now. I gave ~$70 for one of these a few years ago (on clearance).

Works well, very well made, has a crapload of "accessories" that you can get for 'em (screen sides, solid sides, etc). I brought it to Neosho, but didn't set it up. I can bring it any time it's needed (in fact, I just make it a point to bring it to every "event" like an Auto-X these days - comes in handy now and again).
