Kansas City Region SCCA once again invites everyone to MCC Precision Driving Center in Independence, Missouri, for the third round of the 2010 TireRack Midwest Division Solo Series presented by R&S Racing and Solo Performance Specialties.

This unique location offers a blend of concrete (in the turns) and asphalt (on the straights) on an urban style driving center. With typical courses ranging in the 50-60 second range you won't be dissapointed with what this location has to offer!

Never been to a divisional-level autocross? If you're an SCCA member, this is your chance to compete against some of the best drivers from the Midwest by combining the best times from two days of competition.

Registration is open to the first 120 participants that register

Event Schedule:

Friday, July 23rd
5:00 p.m. to dark
Course open for walking - burgers & dogs will be provided by the region
Tech will be onsite and the grid/paddock location near the registration trailer
Registration will be in the KCRSCCA trailer
You must show your current Drivers License and SCCA member card

Saturday, July 24th
7:00a.m. – Site open
7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. – Late check-in & tech by appointment only
8:30 a.m. – Divisional's First Timers course walk and orientation
9:00 a.m. – Drivers meeting (driver must be present to compete)
9:15 a.m. – Cars to grid and worker check in
9:30 a.m. – First car off
6:00 p.m. – Dinner served at MCC under the shelter

Sunday, July 25th
7:00 a.m. – Site open
7:00 a.m. – Course open for walking, cars to grid
8:15 a.m. – Worker check-in
8:30 a.m. – First car off

MiDiv event trophy presentation after end of competion on Sunday.

A lot of KCRSCCA people came to see us at Neosho in April, so let's go support their event in a few weeks.

Go to KC, especially if you went to the Neosho divisional. It only takes two divisionals to qualify for year-end points. Do it right, and you're in the hunt for a Midwest Division class championship.

As of right now, the KC divisional is at 100 entries with over a week until registration closes. The entry cap is 120 people.

Divisionals usually have at least a quarter of the entries waiting until the final week to sign up.

A few days ago Shawn Hill sent an e-mail out to all entrants asking anyone pulling a trailer to the site to let him know. Paddock space is tight, and they will have to budget space for everyone. Make sure to e-mail him if you are towing.

KC was the biggest divisional so far this year. Of the OMR drivers on hand, about half took home first-place trophies. Great showing.
