Congrats to Sam on the overall raw time in a nearly stock Miata, is there any kind of motorsport that a Miata isn't good for?
thanks matt! Just too much fun...

I'd say Drag Racing... Without some LS1 sway, drag racing and Miatas don't mix well...

Thanks to all who helped with the event.

Wow is all I can say, I had so much fun! The OMR crew really knows how to put on an event. Thank you! Sam, congrats on the overall win with the addition of the "stages". The old Mazda really did great off road.

Bracket racing. Mine turned 16.3 for hours on end at Mo-Kan OMR night.

Thanks for the fun run. Entertaining stuff. When I hit a bump, it would bounce me high enough to see over the steering wheel, and I would know which direction to counter-steer.

I wish I could have made it, but I was doing rally-x in a skid-steer all weekend.

I'm pretty impressed with the class winners. The times show that the racing was close and exciting. Cool!

:D :D Youth and Enthusiasm Will Never Defeat Old Age And Treachery :D :D

na, Derek drove great, faster runs than mine most of mine, just had a couple of slip ups... I suspect the AWD's will give us some humble pie next year! It's also hard to compare between heats, so that and some cones may have taken the PA's out of the running...

Jim, eat more AQ chicken and pie... Miatas are for big people. I didn't realize how low you were sitting until you rolled back into grid...

SCCA's St. Louis Region has scheduled a rallycross on Nov. 28th - the Sunday after Thanksgiving. The event will be run at Pittsburg in southern Illinois.....NOT Kansas. Pittsburg can be reached via I-57; take Hwy 60 east to I-57 and then go north to Illinois...don't go thru St. Louis.

This is the most ridiculous excuse ever, but here it goes anyhow. If I get my deer this weekend then I will be available to do this. Here is hoping for good luck this weekend.

Well I drove the car to Dallas this weekend, so I'm much more confident in it now. This is also far enough ahead that I should be able to work it out. Pretty sure you can count me in this time... may need a work weekend between now and then to button a few things up ;)
