Teusday Jan. 5th OMR Monthly board meeting.

The monthly OMRSCCA Board of Directors meeting is every first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM. They're a casual open meeting for members and non-members alike, and everyone is welcome to hear and be heard. Have a burger, talk club business, and bench race until you want to go home.

Basically, go North a few blocks off the National exit on the James River Freeway, and it will be in a brown brick shopping center on your right.

Apologies in advance. There may be a few 5 minute periods the next board meeting when we ask membership to leave the room momentarily.
No secret agendas, honest, But some secrets (historically poorly kept) concerning who won what awards and 09 contest. These of course will be known to all when announced at the Banquet.
As Matt said though. OMR Board meetings are also membership meetings and it is really great having membership participation and feedback at the meetings. It is even possible, although not likely, that you can attend and not be given some job, or position of responsibility.

Sorry guys - you know by now we didn't make it. I got off work in time, just didn't have enough in me to make the drive to Springfield and back once I got home.

We can attest to that. We didn't get handed a job until our
third meeting.

Region Executive - Curtis Wood
Assistant Region Executive - Jim Rowland
Treasurer - Sam Henry
Secretary - Bud Weeks
Rally Chair - Sara Huffman
Solo Chair - Matt Longpine
Member at Large - Jeff Moore
Also, the Matts have been doing some updates to the OMR web site. The new calendar setup looks great.
In the works: 2010 Solo2 OMR schedule, good stuff for the OMR banquet on 1/16, and reasons why you should consider the short drive to Kansas City in February for the 2010 Midwest Division Convention.
