OMR attending June 26th Cruisin' USA car show 6-9 Nixa, MO

Post by SARIE » Wed Jun 09, 2010 7:46 pm

OMR members and friends, come out with your cars to spark new interest in our region! We would like a variety of cars attending to show diversity within our club. Wear your SCCA apparel and sticker/number up your cars! Cruisin' USA is located on HWY 14 in the Crimson Plaza between Ozark and Nixa. The car show is June 26th from 6-9. I suggest arriving @ 5:00 if you want to 'park'. Post if you're attending! Be there, don't be a square! -Sara H.

There is no registration, and I was wondering who was planning on coming. Just post a response here, and I will start by saying I plan on being there.

Jeanie and I are planning to attend. Possibly might bring both cars, stick extra numbers on the shatzbox just to "promote" a bit more. Depends on how many others are coming, of course. More folks = won't bring it.

That sounds fun. I'll bring the Formula even though it's not car show material. Unfortunately, I'll have to put the skinny 16" tires/wheels on it. I'd almost rather bring the convertible, but it's not stickered.

I wanted to give this one the ole college try, but I'm working on Saturday and can't seem to make the trip up to Springfield fit.

I'll run a car over, and have my son Shelby bring over a second.
Hope nobody is embarrassed by our "antiques".

And hope the normal crowd isn't upset that we showed up early and took over half of the lot :-)

PS. If anybody wants to get a pool going I have $10 that Stan makes it to Cruisin USA liscenseless without getting arrested.

Or maybe so? :P

Looks like I can make it away early enough to get up there. Might not be able to stay long, but I'll give it the ole "college try." 8)
