Ozark Mountain Region SCCA

The monthly OMRSCCA Board of Directors meeting is every first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM. They're a casual open meeting for members and non-members alike, and everyone is welcome to hear and be heard. Have a burger, talk club business, and bench race until you want to go home.

With all of the site issues we are having this year, we encourage anyone that might have ideas for future alternative sites, know someone at a site that could help get a club representative a meeting with a site manager, or just be willing to help otherwise to show up to the Board meeting.

Solo
The contact point for the 10/30 Rogers, Arkansas, Solo stopped communicating with us after very sure talks, so we were forced to cancel and look to November for a potential Solo event. It's unlikely we will pursue Crowder for the remainder of 2011 Solo events due to the uncertainty of how the new lot was constructed.

RallyCross
Still aiming for November 6 event, details forthcoming.

RoadRally
Due to the 10/30 Solo cancellation, the annual Traveling Tombstone Rally and party returns to its traditional date of Saturday, 10/29.

Social event
Looking to arrange an OMRSCCA member viewing of the Sundance-winning film SENNA, about the F1 racing legend Aryton Senna, at Springfield's independent Moxie Cinema theater. Saturday, 10/15, is the most likely date.

Perhaps the backout for the 30th was a schedule-conflict or other confusion? I got an email a few days-ago that told me: 4State Vettes is having an AutoX @ Frisco on the 30th.

I got the impression that this had been in the works for some time, after looking-over the last several emails from them.
