2012 Midwest Division Solo Series

Mark you calendars for the confirmed dates for the 2012 MiDiv Solo Series.
MiDiv happens to have a fairly cohesive, geographically central orbit of volunteers and participants, so the MiDiv Solo Series will march on in fine form. The only real difference is that the organizers opted to choose more weather-friendly dates. That's why they're not bunched up in the front half of the season when all the screwy weather happens.
Of course, this will be the first time in four years that OMRSCCA will not be able to host a MiDiv series event due to the (we hope) temporary appropriation of the "big" lot at Crowder for FEMA purposes. Do make sure to hit some MiDiv events this year and support their local volunteers the same way everyone supported us!
Edit: Added Lincoln in May
- May 27-28 - Nebraska Region - Lincoln Air Park
- Jul 7-8 - Kansas Region - Heartland Park Topeka
- Aug 4-5 - Salina Region - Crawford Rec Center
- Sep 22-23 - KC Region - MCC Driving Center, Blue Springs, MO
For 2012, the SCCA revised the "divisional" Solo structure to definie a broader definition of inter-regional events. No longer do you need to attend a divisional "qualifier" event to get the discount for Solo Nationals. Most people agreed that was a dusty old way of doing business. Various parts of the country now have the flexibility to host bigger events that offer the most fun for all involved.2012 Solo Rulebook:
1.2.8 Inter-Regional Solo® Event
An Inter-Regional Solo® Event is primarily planned and administered by a DSS using the broad policy guidelines of the SEB with assistance from the SCCA Solo National Office.
