PAX 3 events and 3 different winners
Looks like the pax finishes are all over the place this year (ive been watching). after 3 events there is no consistent PAX dominant person. Mark, Bud and Opie all pulled one off. Nice! Only thing consistent is "American Muscle" up front and looking dominant!
So who is next? Someone else? Sam maybe? Bob? or will Mark, Bud or Opie win again? Can anyone beat the American Muscle?
I am going to have to come down and play. Just an old lonely 4cyl....
Should we have friendly competition? Like anyone who wants in bucs up $5 and #1 pax takes the pot? (Ive seen people step it up when $ are on the line).

Ohhh, I wanna see! I'd like to play but theres no way I can compete with the SM's EM's and SS cars...(not yet anyways)
On the flip side, it would be nice to see a good'ol 4-banger beat all these V8's.
Hell, I'll throw $5 into the pot just to create some interest

Keep in mind the SM pax sucks. Its really hard to pax high in that class (and be a chunk faster than ESP). One better get it right. Good Pax classes "usualy" are HS, GS, ST classes. Looks like in Spfd the FS and ESP's are good. How ever, it depends on how that driver does that day.CivicSiguy wrote:Ohhh, I wanna see! Pressure?
So what do we call it then. The OMR Pax Off? I will have to find a date I can come down and run....... (stay tuned)
So, who else is in?

PAX Showdown
Sounds interesting.
Back in the dark ages we did that a couple of times when we had an event here in Pittsburg. The way we did it was to complete all the class runs so that year-end points for class champions and for year-end PAX champion would not be messed up, and then held a PAX Shootout at the end of the event. Anyone who wanted to get in could pay $5.00 and would get one run and only one run. The only time that mattered was your PAX time. Then we gave all the money away--something like $25 to first, $20 to second and so forth. It was fun. A cone was deadly. As I remember there was only a couple of tenths between the top four. The crowd was cheering like it was nationals.

This might be some thing good for OMR to do consistantly. Looks like it could bring added excitement for not only the drivers but the viewers and fans them selves.
So you guys going to start this at the next event??
I will see you all in August
Oh yea and Bob, You and that Neon are no slouch so I'm not going to buy in to it.. I remember a couple of years ago my current Co driver and I came down in a red 325 and you were sand bagging and whipped up on us pretty good on the last run . So, I have not forgotten the ass whipping you gave us At some point some time in the future i am going to have to (try) to return the favor.
Some one take the "Pax Off" and run with it.......
