I will be coming up to run in the May 24th event in the autocrosstraining.com ///M3 to show case the MAXQ data system's MQGPS-TraQr stand alone units. The units record data from each run and is downloaded to a PC to look at lines, G's, speed, etc to help a driver get faster.
Please drop by the web site for pricing and to reserve a unit for the event on the 24th.

Kerry,
I'll have to hit you up at the event I will be there in Frank and have been curious to see what they can do.
I need some help with setup and the seat of hte pants just isn't doing it. I think I need to start backing it up with some real data.

I can help you with all that and there are some pretty cheap options for buying a system that you can get the info you need from it.
When I use the data logger at events I am running with Asher, he is faster in some parts and me at others. I have improved from being a couple of seconds off of him to tenths at a lot of events through looking at the runs. Most of the time is comes down to a wider line I had in one corner or another than him.

Kerry, you PAXed out in fourth at the end of the day.
Interesting to see that a "fast" car today spent most of its time in the 35-45 MPH range. Not impressive to everyone's friends and coworkers.
Then you see the car spent an awful lot of time spiking over 1G of lateral acceleration. Back and forth, constantly.
That's pretty much the story of autocrossing.

Jim, I have been looking through the lines you guys had vs mine and Nelsons. We will have a few things to talk about tomorrow. The last pass of the day for me was about .4 faster than the video I put up. Man, its late. Pm me a phone number and email address. I have some of your runs but we still have to pull a few more off the unit.
Do you remember the how far back we were from the esp cars in PAX? That course was made for that kind of car.
