Is OMR allowing for a street tires pax modifier in stock classes? I know the divisional had street tire stock class, is pax the same for regular stock? How does this work? Thanks.

Are you talking about a way to calculate the difference between street tires and R-tires for PAX number crunching?
Or maybe establishing a separate index for those using street tires in stock class, like a "street tires in race tire classes" signup sheet?
I think we talked about establishing an entire street tire class based on PAX at the beginning of 2011, but some us waivered on further splitting existing class headcounts. If there were a swell of interest, we could revisit how that might be set up.

That is what I was asking about. Like a C-stock(street tire)class with it's own pax modifier. AS-T, BS-T, CS-T, and so forth. I see your point about class headcount though. I'm running Kumho XS this upcoming season, so I will likely play around in STX and CS.

Here's one implementation:

The SCCA is offering 140-treadwear Stock street tire classes at National Tour events based on PAX/RTP index.
National Tour events will see the addition of 6 RT Classes, 3 open and 3 ladies, divided by drivetrain. RTF will include all front wheel drive Stock classed cars, RTR will be for all rear wheel drive cars and RTA will cater to all wheel drive vehicles. These classes will be scored on Rick Ruth's Racer’s Theoretical Performance (RTP) indexing system.

This was discussed at the last board meeting. We are in process of getting more info, more input, and also determining if a software upgrade would be required to calculate
