For sale: 2000 Toyota Corolla CE 5-speed
  • Five-speed manual transmission
  • Working air conditioning
  • Kenwood USB-equipped AM/FM/CD head unit
  • 212k miles
  • Arkansas title in hand with assessment/taxes/tags up to date. Car is ready to sell, sitting in my driveway in Rogers, AR.
  • Matching tires
This Corolla is mechanically sound and drives well, and it has received a lot of recent maintenance. As you can see in the album linked below, it does have exterior and interior blemishes. It's nimble and fun with the manual transmission, and it should return 30+ MPG easily. This was the first model year for Toyota's "VVT-i" variable-valve timing system, which slightly increased horsepower and torque. The car accelerates, shifts, and brakes well with no stumbling or smoke. Just a light weight, simple Toyota that will get you around. I recently took it from NW Arkansas to Joplin on I-49, and it drove like a champ.

I bought this Corolla for my father in 2014, and he rarely drove it outside Rogers. He had a stroke a few months ago and can no longer drive. The car is currently hooked up to a battery tender and gets driven occasionally to keep everything fresh. I have way more money tied up in this car than the asking price and need to recoup some of that to put towards our expenses.

This would make an excellent Winter beater or RallyCross car. I can probably dig up a pair of used snow tires on compatible wheels for someone in the group.

Split two, three, or four ways, this is a cheap way to get into RallyCross for peanuts.
