D Mod Number

Post by killerbracing » Wed Jul 16, 2008 8:27 pm

The car is getting there, hopefully in Aug or Sep I'll be there. I've ran #13 everywhere I've raced (and played baseball). I'm lettering the car 13 dm. Any objections?

This year OMR is trying unique numbering. One driver, one number, regardless of class. I think this was based on timing and scoring troubles in the past.

I haven't been in registration much this year, but I know many single-digit and double-digit numbers were snapped up fairly quickly. If anyone has run 13 at any point this year, it may not be available.

Maybe someone more familiar with registration could chime in.

Simple and crude, but effective. The car too.

I am going to letter it, it's already been cut. If you don't let me run due to a number, oh well. But thanks.

Put permanent numbers on it if you want.

We have painter's tape if another number has to be put in front of or behind the 13.

Sorry, no tape on the paint. It's a race car not a community welfare project.
I'll take care of it. Thanks.
