So I've compiled the clips I took of the first Autocross and I need to shrink them down so I can share the video. I've tried approximately 355399 ways to compile the video using DivX, even using DivX's own guides and every time it looks like I'm driving through a sea of pixels.
I know some of you have made videos so how did you do it?

Re: Shrinking race videos
If you have raw footage you can load in to a movie program. I use Muvee because Im a rookie movie guy. There is an HP and also Microsoft editor program you can use. I store all of mine on Utube which is somewhat limited. Muvee askes if you want for streeming on line video. Format I use is probably most widly used (i think) WMV Windows Media Video.magilson wrote:So I've compiled the clips I took of the first Autocross and I need to shrink them down so I can share the video. Here are some experiments that i did. The first one took me 30+ hours to put togehter. I also did a KCR demo for World Of Wheels. You can put still shots in too. Muvee does it all for you. Just plug in raw pics, vids music and has some options for movement.
The first one is from SCCA Solo 2 Nationals 2007 with me and my Co Driver (Im 188 i coned every one of the runs you will see ) My Codriver is the one who DNF'd. This was Day one on east course. (had 3 fastest time on day 2 FWIW) The wet runs were from Nationals 2004 (13 trophy spot in the rain) and some from Arrowhead. Camera used wasnt a good one hence the blurryness.
