Minutes of the Ozark Mountain Region SCCA BOD meeting of 5/3/11.  Members present: RE Curtis Wood, Jim Rowland, Bud Weeks, Jeff Moore, Sara Huffman, Matt Longpine, and two other OMR members.
 
Call to order: Curtis.
 
Motion to approve OMR BOD minutes from April by Matt, second by Jeff.  Passed.
 
Treasurer's report:  The trailer repair has been paid for and the purchase of the new timing equipment has been paid for.  All is up-to-date except for a $200 check that has not been cashed and $20 for adapters for the trailer.  The rally made $17.  Dave Acuff donated the trophies.
Motion to approve the minutes by Sam, second by Jim.  Passed.
 
 
Rally report: the rally had 8 entries and a good time was had by all.
Motion to give Dave Acuff two entries into OMR events for his donation of trophies and his work on setting up the rally by Curtis, second by Sara.  Passed.
 
Midiv report: current entries are 49 with the deadline on May 11.  It is still unknown if Crowder will furnish lunch on-site.  Justin will order port-a-potties this week.  Jim will be doing the course.  Reliable will provide the water.  Supplies and timing are ready.  More give-aways are needed.  A roll of tickets is needed for a raffle.  A frame will be needed to support the new timing display board.
Motion for Jim to be allowed up to $200 on the Midiv for more give-aways and preparation by Curtis, second by Sam.  Passed.
Motion for Matt to make a frame for the timing display by Curtis, second by Sam.  Passed.
 
Discussion on the subject of where to leave the trailer when it is not being used; whether to continue to ask an OMR member to haul it back and forth or to find a storage place near Crowder where it could easily and quickly be hauled to the event site.  No action taken.
 
Rallycross report:  NEOKLA has a rallycross scheduled for 7/31 so that OMR will probably not want to schedule a rallycross until after that.  It is hoped that we can have two events this year.
 
Discussion of the Facebook page that is maintained by an OMR member.  It is thought to be beneficial to OMR and OK as is at this time.
