Minutes of the Ozark Mountain Region SCCA BOD meeting of Sept. 6, 2011. 
 
Members present: RE Curtis Wood, Jim Rowland, Sam Henry, Jeff Moore, Bud Weeks, and Matt Longpine, plus 2 OMR members.
 
Call to order: Curtis
 
Secretary's report: motion to waive reading of minutes by Jeff, second by Sam.  Passed.
 
Treasurer's report: The charity donation and sanction fee yet to be paid.
Motion to accept report by Jim, second by Matt.  Passed.
 
Rallycross report:  the event on Sept. 5 near Wheaton, MO, had 16 entrants and made just over $200.  Discussion that the Creeches had a number of expenses in mowing and etc., plus hands-on work in setting up site, and the consensus was that they should be compensated just as any other site for an event would be compensated.
Motion to give the Creeches $250 for lot rental by Sam, second by Curtis.  Passed.
 
Autocross report:  Downstream cancelled for the next autocross but Bud reported that their plans for a 9/11 event have fallen through, which may open up the possibility of hosting the next autocross on Sept. 11 after all.  Bud will check back with Downstream to try to set up that site.  Next scheduled autocross after Sept. 11 is on Oct. 2 at Crowder.  Jim reported that Michael Clark of Rogers, AR, wants to stage an autocross on Oct. 30, and he is inviting OMR to run it.  Discussion of how to coordinate autocross with scheduled Traveling Tombstone event on Oct. 29.
Motion to move Traveling Tombstone event to Oct. 22 by Matt, second by Jim.  Passed.
Motion to schedule autocross in Rogers, AR, on Oct. 30 by Curtis, second by Matt.  Passed.
Justin and Sara to haul trailer to Rogers for the Oct. 30 event.
 
Motion to adjourn by Jeff, second by Sam.  Passed
