Minutes of the Ozark Mountain Region SCCA BOD meeting of Aug. 6, 2013.  Members present: RE Curtis Wood, Jeff Moore, Tim Datema, Bud Weeks, Matt Longpine, Justin Huffman, and Sam Henry, plus 11 other OMR members and guests.
 
Call to order: Curtis.
 
Secretary's report: motion to waive the reading of the minutes by Matt, second by Tim.  Passed.
 
Treasurer's report: audits paid but with lot rental yet to be paid.
Motion to accept report by Jeff, second by Matt.  Passed.
 
Rallycross report: event at Lebanon was successful according to participants with 12 entries and good competition.  Next rallycross will have several Rallycross Safety Stewards available.
 
Autocross report: next event at Ducks on Aug. 11.  Justin will haul trailer, Scott Woosley will do the course.  Supplies are OK.
 
Solo Safety Steward training: Justin Huffman, Sara Huffman, and Tim Datema are now approved to do Solo Safety training.  They will get a power point program from Janice Rick, Midiv Solo Safety Steward, and plan to do a training in the near future, perhaps just before a BOD meeting.
 
Street Survival report: Tim gave update on plans.  The fairgrounds has offered to host a Street Survival on Sept. 21 for a fee of $800 in front of the grandstand.  It is a paved site.  There was much discussion of costs, income, and resources needed including the idea of getting a sponsor to help with costs.  Bill Rinke was present to offer assistance with getting help from MODOT including perhaps the "Seatbelt Convincer," the "Rollover Simulator," "Drunk Googles," or any other supplies or resources they might have.
Motion to proceed with SS school on Sept. 21 by Tim, second by Bud.  Passed.
