Minutes of the Ozark Mountain Region SCCA BOD from July 1, 2014.  Members present: RE Tim Datema, Sam Henry, Matt Longpine, Curtis Wood, Bud Weeks, Justin Huffman, and Jeff Moore, plus 7 OMR members.
 
Call to order: Tim.
 
Treasurer's report: with audit, lot rental, and sanction fee yet to be paid, and with income from the Midiv event yet to come.
Motion to accept by Justin, second by Matt.  Passed.
 
Secretary's report: motion to waive the reading of the minutes by Matt, second by Justin.  Passed.
 
Solo report: all agree the Midiv event was a success.  The shootout on Sunday was a good idea and there was much appreciation of Jim Rowland for presenting it and managing the shootout.  Don Wilson swept the entire lot before the event and it virtually eliminated the loose gravel problem.  Midiv shirts were reported to be of low quality.  OMR solo program stickers will be ready by next event.  Next autocross will be on July 13.  Korry is not available to build the course.  If Jim Rowland doesn't want to do the course, then Bud said he would pitch in.
Motion to allow Don Wison to autocross the rest of the year for no entry fee by Matt, second by Bud.  Passed.
 
Rallycross report: the most recent rallycross had 14 entrants and was fun for all that came.  The timing system for rallycross continues to have false trips and efforts are being made to figure out why.
 
Street Survival School report: OMR plans to put on a SSS in the fall.  Various ideas were tossed around including which lot to use, whether to schedule in November or earlier, whether MODOT will again be involved, planning to get the fire dept. involved again, how to make the lot more slippery, and if a skid car could be obtained.
