Didn't know 2 seaters couldn't be in ST. But no problems, change it around however you want, the kids were just there to have fun. My daughter Rebecca had only been driving for 4 weeks, so very proud of her 46, even if it was in a 40 car.

Talked to Brad, manager of Duck's stadium. They are in the process of getting contracter quotes to repair the stadium lot and I think "renogotiating" with OTC. Cross your fingers as our being able to continue using the stadium would be a very good thing.

If we have to move to a new lot, we may need to grow the events to 60 or even 80 cars to avoid raising entry fees. Personally I would rather be on a smaller or compromised lot with 6 runs than on a big open one with only 3. No matter what happens, entry numbers in the 50s would help a lot.

If the lap times drop below 30 seconds or I don't get 6 runs I'm wondering if the 8+ hours I put in on an event are even worth it...

I'd pay 30 bucks to run before I sacrifice the run times or number of runs, to be quite honest.

There were a couple of GTI's at Hallett last weekend (BMW club event). You should consider participating in a DE event. Excluding tire and brake wear, I probably spent around $475 for the weekend (event fee $225, hotel $100, food & gas $150) but that was for 160 minutes of on track time. The math works out to about $3 bucks for each minute on the track.

That's what next year is shaping up to be (at least in my mind). We'll see where that goes. Blow money on track days with my DD or spend it on an insane mkII...
