Post by fordfocusguy » Thu Aug 19, 2010 4:47 pm

Hey all!!! Going to Nats, who's going? Also, anyone have a hotel room they wanna split? Haha. Hope to see ya there! And Scott, don't worry, not driving the Focus, so no fixing blowing up coolant tanks. :)

What's up? What's your Nationals ride going to be?

I'll be co-driving a blue EVO in STU in the last heat on Tuesday-Wednesday. Look for #119 if you're on-site.

Did you ever replace the tank - or is the repair "still going strong"?

If that's who I think it is - I believe I know the car (and driver - peripherally, anyway).

Chris came to the 2009 Neosho Divisional, and you've probably seen him elsewhere.

The car is maroon. Since it doesn't have the normal CP V8 roar, it has a lot of racy-sounding gear whine.

Yeah, I remember talking with him last year at the No-sho Div, and at Salina.

Yeah, he's pretty awesome. I was talking to him about Nat's, and how I didnt have a ride, and he's like, drive my car, I can use a co driver, and I had a heart attack, died, rejuvenated, and ran around in circles. :)

driving w/chris is seriously good fortune. he's really got the car shaken out and he's got a lot faster in the last couple of years. he's the man to beat in midiv CP. you'll have a blast.
