:: Update, due to possible bad weather, the meeting has been postponed to February 8 ::

The monthly OMRSCCA Board of Directors meeting is every first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM. They're a casual open meeting for members and non-members alike, and everyone is welcome to hear and be heard. Have a burger, talk club business, and bench race until you want to go home.

Basically, go North a few blocks off the National exit on the James River Freeway, and it will be in a brown brick shopping center on your right.

Springfield and most of the OMR area have been under a Winter Storm Warning since yesterday afternoon. The National Weather Service bulletin this morning did not back down from its prediction of a significant ice/sleet/snow event.

Unless the system makes a radical change from predicted, I expect the meeting will be postponed.

If the 8+ inches of snow topping a layer of ice pan out, I definitely won't be hitting the road tomorrow evening.

Due to blizzard and winter storm warnings for February 1, the Board meeting has been moved to February 8.

Another snow event is edging towards our area. It may not affect Springfield tomorrow evening, but it could hit a couple of meeting regulars on the Western side of the OMR area, like Pittsburg, Joplin, NW Arkansas, etc.

I may have to bow out if much happens where I'm at.
