NEWS: the new Crowder lot will NOT be available for the autocross on Sunday, July 10. The hot temperatures throughout June and July have prevented the asphalt from curing as quickly as hoped. Stay tuned for details and likely alternate date.

Might possibly be able to be there. At least I'm going to try. Have to work that night again so I have to figure out if I would be able to make it back at KC at 3:30 pm for work.

We have a couple of early a.m. worker positions that would fufill your work duties before the drivers meeting if you could be there ~ 7am. Then you could run first heat and leave at lunch. If you are interested please PM me and JimR to set this up.

Thanks for posting here to let us know that you are coming, but we encourage you to pre-register on
MotorsportReg. Not only will this save you serious time in the registration line, but will insure that you get notification of any changes that might come for this event (we aren't expecting any). Thanks for coming up and we're looking forward to seeing you Sunday.

Matt found out today that the newly paved lot at Crowder is not ready for autocross use. Crowder experienced some aggregate pulling up with even their trucks turning on top of it, so the asphalt has not cured, yet. This early, dry Summer has slowed the process.
We're examining alternatives right now. The most likely scenario is a later date. Stay tuned.

Given the record heat, it doesn't look like a safe bet to hold a Solo on the still-uncured asphalt Crowder lot over the next few weekends. With the RallyCross Midwest Divisional on July 31 in Tulsa and Divisional Solo in Kansas City on the following weekend, the schedule gets too busy in the near future.
We will make up the missed date with a Solo on Sunday, October 23.
The next Solo will be the normally scheduled event on Sunday, August 14.
